I was feeding, and feeling pretty good, looking around thinking how I enjoy winter in the desert.
Trying to finish chores before the sun goes down, didn't think the sky would color up like it does during the "Monsoon" season, so I just snapped a few shots.
This first shot is a snow storm on Mt, Potosi in the afternoon, the second was taken in the mourning, while I started the day fire. I was getting things sorted out so when things get sorted out I'll start the migration north. Keep your fingers crossed.
I sure am thankful for the support on learning this blog stuff, believe me now more than ever I realize life is continuing education.
Every day should have a few moments like these, see you at the fire-------Mikey.

Redneck Dance
Now that I have been Informed of the Big Event on June 20Th I believe a little dance practice is in order, haven't done that much in quite a few years. Someone recently expressed to me that good dancing is very important. Never was all that graceful myself. Who to ask, sure don't want to ask Dude. Way too rambunctious for me!
Hey Rooster! Want to make yourself useful for a change?
What's up?
What's up is I need to learn a few dance steps, because I haven't danced for a long time.
OK- How about the old favorite "Redneck Chicken Dance"?
Hey you gals want to help me with something?
What's up?
When what freezes over!
Wonder what's going to be served for dinner at "The Big Event"?
See you soon ------------------------------Mikey.

Home Again-2
Recently took Larry up to the Sprucetree Ranch to give him a look at what Jerry refers to as "God's Country". The trip was blessed with clear and slightly cold weather, that's always nice on 700 miles of US-95 in January. Unfortunately Mikey's Law decided to remind us that nothing is going to go your way 100% of the time. For example being 2 hours ahead of schedule, when your alternator goes out. Thankfully we were close enough to Jordan Valley, Oregon that Jerry bailed us out just as the sun set. I also was lucky to hitch a ride for 40 miles to the ION truck stop, which is 5 miles from the Sprucetree. Got my car repaired by Sunday, meanwhile Jerry kept us busy on the ranch between horses and touring the country looking at property.
Hey, here's Spice, not all of you know I bought three of her foals, Easter was my first.

Dudes New Year Party
Yeeee Haaww!!!! Hey Mikey Let's Party "Happy New Year"!!!
Just a little warm up to stretch out the muscles. Then This!
What do ya think of that one?
Want to see some more?
Dude just loves to Dance!
Personally, I just love to see he's feeling so good. I can pass on the invitation to dance with him though. Probably the reason he's not trained yet is due to a back problem------ "YELLOW".
I know what will help, a warm fire and a cold one, see you there--------- Mikey!
