The Fourth is a favorite holiday of mine, the world I have lived in calls it,"Cowboy Christmas". This is the weekend of more Rodeos than any other.

Cowboy Christmas always means more prize money available to win!

You know the more I am around Dude the more guilty I feel about about Easter. Easter will just have to learn to understand, he is everything to me. That being said, Dude may well be a big part of my future, so I have a lot of interest in his well being. Get over it Easter, you are still my #1.

I call this---JackieJo---no words needed! she is a heart throb in mikey's world. Dad would always say I liked those cow ponies. He was right. I would not care if she was a mutt, which she is not, I would vote for her.

Yes life goes on here at the LMA, these babies still eat hay! JJ will have a foal next year, out of a reserve world champion(Elvis), Dudes daddy. We should always keep an eye on the future, who knows we may need it.

New Machine Shop

Finally got er done, I don't mind telling you this was really bugging me for the last few weeks. End result is it's vertical and, (believe it or not level), just had to line it up with the house, complete. Still having problems getting enough pictures to present the whole show, but I'm sure everyone understands how mush of a problem it is to move 14,000 lbs. As happy as I was about this, it was not the highlight of the weekend.







. This was, Sunday Glenn and Marie dropped by for a visit. Oh the fish stories were flying that day. How's that for a cute photo?






.We had some time. Food and drink, conversation, great. The ranch really felt like home.







. And you know Marie just had to size me up for some footie's, bless her.







. Does Glenn look like he's telling me I'm full of it? I hope so, we are family.

. Since my phone is so weak we took the opportunity for a photo op with Dude. Glenn nailed a couple nice ones which he will E-mail me, can't wait to share more of the day with you.

Great to see them, we all wish for more good times together, never enough!

. Yes just another day on the LMA. Forgot to mention Merle and Marion showed up too. Everybody but Dad and I went for a ride. Actually I had the horse shoer come out before Merle got here, we did Easter and Toby (trims), just as we finished Marion came back alone while the gang made their way to a local way to a local watering hole. Shortly after Merle made it. The three of us had a nice conversation waiting for the gang to get back.

.That off road stuff must make you really hungry, We had 5lbs' Tri-tip,3 lbs' onion burgers;potato chips; Ritz crackers Provolone & American cheeses; pickles; taters and onions, yep the old smoker was going full tilt!
